The Mexican driver, Raul Guzman driving for the DR Formula Team was fastest overall at the conclusion of qualifying. The Venezuelan driver for the Kfzteile24 Mucke Motorsport team was in control of the first qualifying group and will therefore start race 1 at the front of Group B. Simone Cunati, for Vincenzo Sospiri Racing, will be at the head of Group C.
ADRIA (Rovigo) 6 May, 2016 - Thanks to his time of 1:14.673 in the second qualifying group, Raul Guzman was the fastest driver in perfect conditions at Adria Raceway for the second round of the Italian F4 Championship powered by Abarth.
• The fastest time in the first group was a 1:15.143 recorded by Mauricio Baiz, who took pole position along with Guzman. Recording the second fastest time overall and fastest of the Rookie drivers was Simone Cunati who will start at the head of Group C.
• The sporting regulations mean that at the conclusion of today's qualifying the drivers will be divided into 3 groups; A, B and C. On Saturday and Sunday they will therefore compete over 4 races A verses B; B verses C; A verses C. The second round of the Championship will then conclude with the Final in which the first 36 drivers classified over the first 3 races. The starting grid therefore of each race is based according to the general classification of qualifying.
