The first two pole positions of the season to Sebastian Fernandez at Misano

A double for the Bhaitech team in the two sessions of qualifying for the Italian F4 Championship powered by Abarth at Misano. Sebastian Fernandez will start ahead of everyone in both Races 1 and 2, thanks to a time of 1:34.655 obtained in the first session and a 1:34.060 in the second session. Behind him will be his team mate, the Italian Lorenzo Colombo with times of 1:34.709 and 1:34.269 respectively.

In third place we find the Brazilian Felipe Drugovich (Van Amersfort Racing) in Race 1 and the New Zealander Marcus Armstrong (Prema Power Team) in Race 2.


- From fourth place through to tenth on the grid in the first race we find the Brazilian Enzo Fittipaldi, the New Zealander Marcus Armstrong and the Estonian Juri Vips (the three Prema Power Team drivers), then Leonardo Lorandi (Bhaitech), the Russian Artem Petrov (DR Formula), the American Juan Correa (Prema Power Team) and the Dutchman Job Van Uitert (Jenzer Motorsport).

- Meanwhile grid 4 through to tenth in Race 2 is as follows; Artem Petrov, Leonardo Lorandi, Enzo Fittipaldi, Felipe Drugovich, Juri Vips, Kush Maini and Job Van Uitert.

- Sophia Florsh (BWT Mucke Motorsport), was the fastest in the battle for the Women’s trophy, qualifying right in the midfield; in Race 1 she will start 14th and Race 2, 12th.

- Demonstrating the outstanding competitiveness of the series, the first 22 drivers were separated by just 1 second.

- Race 1 will start today at 16:55. Tomorrow, Sunday April 2 at 10:10 and 17:10 will see Races 2 and 3 respectively.

- All races count towards the championship; the outright Driver’s Championship, the Rookie Trophy (for series debutants), the Women’s Trophy and the Team’s Trophy.
