Championship leader seems to be more and more at his best, while the Brazilian is looking for a relaunch. Excellent return by Petecof

In the traditional Friday free practices, on the circuit of Misano it is Championship leader Leonardo Lorandi (Bhai Tech Racing) to set best lap time in FP2, evidently the fastest due to the fact that teams use new tyres and setups are focused on qualifying sessions. Behind the Italian is Enzo Fittipaldi (Prema Theodore Racing), first in FP1, who has had quite a lot of difficulties in latest appointment in Monza and is looking for a relaunch, with a very good 1’35.606, while third is Giorgio Carrara (Jenzer Motorsport), from Argentina, with 1’35.791. Excellent return by Gianluca Petecof (Prema Theodore Racing), after the stop in Monza due to an injury, who sets seventh best in FP1 and fourth in FP2 (1’35.854). He is first of the Rookies today, even though his performances sometimes make one forget he is new to single seater competition.

“In Monza we did not think we would have been so successful, as last year I had had some difficulties, while in Misano I was fast in my first race in 2017”, comments Lorandi. “I expect good results”.
“It is a very important weekend here in Misano for me, as I need to be fast but also use my head and be patient”, comments a very focused Fittipaldi.

“I feel well, and after the stop in Monza free pratice here in Misano have been very good. I expect positive results in qualifying. We are always in the front when competing in the Rookie Trophy, which helps us compared to a very competitive Championship”, are the words by Petecof.
