The Mugello Circuit is set to host the exciting fourth round of the Italian F.4 Championship, promoted by ACI Sport and WSK Promotion. The upcoming weekend, July 13-14, will feature a tightly contested competition among drivers from over 20 different nations, deployed by 11 Teams, all determined to leave their mark on one of Italy's most challenging circuits.

Leading the overall standings is Freddie Slater, the young British talent from Prema Racing, who has collected a total of seven victories. His recent hat-trick at Vallelunga has solidified his position at the top of the championship with 165 points, showcasing exceptional form and unmatched determination.

Close behind is Hiyu Yamakoshi, the Japanese driver from Van Amersfoort Racing, who has shown consistency and speed with three podium finishes in the Roman weekend, in addition to 2 victories achieved previously, to cement his position as top contenders, with 127 points in the standings. Yamakoshi is ready to challenge Slater's dominance and capitalize on every opportunity to reduce the points gap.

Equally competitive is Mercedes junior driver Alex Powell, the talented Jamaican from Prema Racing, currently occupying third place in the standings. Powell demonstrated impressive pace in the last round at Vallelunga. Powell is also deeply engaged in the top fight of the Rookie standings, where the first position is currently held by his Latvian teammate Tomass Stolcermanis.

The points gap between the two is narrow, with just 9 points separating first and second place.

The atmosphere at the Mugello Circuit promises to be electric, filled with expectations and adrenaline, as motorsport enthusiasts prepare for a weekend of thrilling on-track battles. This fourth round of the seven-round season also marks the prelude to the championship's European tour, beginning with the next event at Paul Ricard in France the following week, in a final sprint before the summer break.

Among the protagonists on track at Mugello will be a local star: Davide Larini of PHM AIX Racing. Larini, a true Tuscan, will certainly be one of the drivers to watch on the starting grid, ready to showcase his talent on his home track.

Among the other Italian drivers in the race, we find Emanuele Olivieri of Team AKM Motorsport, winner of the latest Supercorso Federale of the ACI Sport Federal School, and Alvise Rodella of Van Amersfoort Racing. These young Italian talents are poised to challenge the best international drivers, proudly representing the Italian flag and aiming to leave an indelible mark in the prestigious junior racing championship.

The schedule includes free practices on Friday, July 11th, starting from 8:30 to 9:10, and again from 12:20 to 13:00. Qualifying sessions will follow in the evening, from 17:20 to 17:35 for the first session, and from 17:45 to 18:00 for the second session. Saturday, July 13th, will see the first races of the weekend: Race 1 (30 minutes + 1 lap) starting at 11:20; Race 2 (30 minutes + 1 lap) kicking off at 18:55. The final race of the weekend will then take place on Sunday, July 14th, also over 30 minutes + 1 lap, ready to start at 11:20.

The three races of the weekend will be broadcast live on the Italian F.4 Championship's YouTube and Facebook channels, on ACI Sport TV (Sky channel 228, Tivů Sat channel 52, and streaming on www.acisport.it), as well as on the extensive network of international television channels that broadcast the 2024 Italian F.4 Championship races, including the DAZN platform.
