The start of the new season of the championship promoted by ACI Sport and WSK Promotion is just around the corner. The first of seven rounds will take place over the weekend of May 10 at the circuit named after Marco Simoncelli, the Misano World Circuit in Misano Adriatico.

From the very first round, the series is set to deliver outstanding numbers for one of the leading feeder single-seater categories: the Italian F4 Championship is ready to start with over 50 drivers expected on the grid, representing 13 teams. The international profile continues to grow, with 29 nations represented and official Formula 1 academies once again choosing the championship as a key step in developing their young talents.

A new sporting chapter begins at Misano: four races will be held, including three qualifying races and a Final reserved for the top 36 drivers. A new points system will also be introduced, awarding 30 points to the winner, with a descending scale down to 15th position.

The format confirms that all races will award points, making every session crucial for the overall standings.

The weekend action will begin as early as Thursday, May 7, with collective testing: drivers will be split into groups and alternate on track in 40-minute sessions, with each group completing four sessions throughout the day (from 9:00 to 16:30).

Friday, May 8 will feature free practice sessions, with drivers divided into two Series: Series 1 will run from 8:30 AM to 8:50 AM and from 1:30 PM to 1:50 PM, while Series 2 will be on track from 9:00 AM to 9:20 AM and from 2:00 PM to 2:20 PM.
Qualifying sessions will take place in the evening: Series 1 from 5:55 PM to 6:15 PM, followed by Series 2 from 6:55 PM to 7:20 PM. Based on these results, the three race groups (A, B and C) will be formed: the overall fastest driver will be placed in Group A and will start from pole position in Race 2 and Race 3, while the fastest driver from the other series will lead Group B and start from pole in Race 1.

Race 1 will take place on Saturday, May 9 at 11:30 AM, followed by Race 2 at 5:10 PM. On Sunday, May 10, the day will open with Race 3 at 8:30 AM. At the end of the races, a combined classification will determine the top 36 drivers who will qualify for the Final, scheduled at 1:50 PM.
All races throughout the weekend will be broadcast on the Italian F4 Championship social media channels and on ACI Sport TV (Sky channel 228, Tivùsat channel 52 and streaming on acisport.tv). Admission is free and the paddock will be open to the public.
