(AKM Motorsport press office release)

AKM Motorsport is ready to hit the track in the Italian F4 Championship, a series in which it has been competing since 2020. The team led by Marco Antonelli will take part in the opening round at Misano on May 9–10 with three drivers.

One of the returning drivers is Evan Michelini. The Costa Rican driver of Genoese origin, born in 2007, made his debut in 2025, contesting all three rounds of the E4 Championship (the continental mini-series reserved for Tatuus single-seaters of the category) with the San Marino-based team. This year, he will take on a full-time campaign, competing in both the Italian championship and the same European series, which is held over three different rounds.

Joining him will be Vittorio Orsini. The 16-year-old driver from Emilia won the ACI Sport Supercorso Federale last year. At the start of this season, again with AKM Motorsport, he impressed in the Formula Winter Series by securing a Rookie class victory during the opening weekend at Estoril, gaining valuable experience ahead of his debut in the Italian F4 Championship.

Completing the lineup will be Fabricio Fogaça. Just 15 years old, the young driver from São Paulo contested several rounds of the Brazilian F4 Championship earlier this year and is now set to take on a new challenge, working to familiarize himself with both the car and the circuits, which are new to him.

This year, the Italian series features a total of seven rounds. After Misano, it will move to Vallelunga two weeks later, followed by Monza (June 20–21), Mugello (July 25–26), Imola (September 5–6), and finally returning to Misano (September 19–20) and Mugello (October 31–November 1).

The E4 Championship will instead kick off at Vallelunga over the weekend of July 4–5, before heading to the French circuit of Paul Ricard (July 18–19), with the season finale at Monza (October 10–11).

All races of the championship will be broadcast live via streaming on the YouTube channel @Italianf4-Euro4 and on ACI Sport TV, available on Sky channel 228.
