PIRELLI IS THE OFFICIAL FORMULA 4 TYRE SUPPLIER.
The new Formula 4 Italia is getting into gear. As announced, the new tyre supplier was appointed yesterday: all the Formula 4 single-seater cars are going to race on Pirelli tyres during the forthcoming 2014 season.

The tyres of the Italian company from Milan have just filled the last slot of a top-quality technical context. The presence of Pirelli is added value to the mechanics of the engines assembled in Turin by Abarth and of the chassis manufactured in Concorezzo by Tatuus. The Italian Formula 4 is going to be an outstanding showcase for the Italian car-racing industry.

WHY PIRELLI? TOP QUALITY AND GREAT ADVANTAGES.
The regulations of the ACI-CSAI Formula 4 Italian Championship confirm its philosophy. In fact, the Championship aims at achieving excellent technical performance and, at the same time, at limiting the costs. In the firts place, appointing Pirelli has established a direct contact with Formula 1 - Pirelli is also the official F1 tyre supplier -. Then, last but not least, Pirelli tyres - expressly designed for the Italian single-seaters - have high qualitative standards and a reasonable price: a set of tyres costs 640.00 Euros plus VAT. Such a price meets the prescriptions of the regulations which allow - for each event - a set of fresh tyres and a set of used ones for the free practice session (only for the first round drivers will have two sets of fresh tyres). For the rest of the weekend, teams will have six fresh tyres (three rear and three front tyres) at their disposal, from qualifying until Race 3.

In the meantime, the market of drivers and teams is in full swing. The slots of the 2014 are getting filled and teams are ready to announce their participation officially. Many foreign drivers have already joined the Championship.
